FEED USA + Target

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
After the "epic fail" of Target's collaboration with Neiman Marcus back in December, the discount retailer is trying the other end of the spectrum--a collaboration with a philanthropic purpose. The original FEED 1 bags, which help fight hunger throughout the world, became hugely popular a couple of years ago.  But FEED Projects co-founder, Lauren Bush Lauren, has designed a whole new collection that focuses on hunger within the United States with FEED USA + Target.  The collection includes over 50 products, each one with a tag that indicates how many meals will be donated from your purchase. Find all products in stores and online starting on Sunday, June 30.

My top pick? These perfect summer throws:

Kate

Meet my sister, Kate. She's an 800-page-book-reading, record-playing, Chinese-speaking, from-scratch-cooking, watercolor-painting, sock-knitting, human encyclopedia. Some may call her a grandma in a 20-year-old's body; others may call her a nerd. Regardless, she's one of the most enthralling people you will ever have the pleasure of speaking listening to.

Although Kate's hobbies cover a span larger than that of the Pacific Ocean, the girl also has a great sense of style. Her favorite brands and designers include: Elizabeth and James, Chloe, Jeffrey Campbell, J. Crew, Isabel Marant, Free People and Comme des Garcons.

A Little Bit of Budapest

Back when I spent my free time researching my next European destination, the "Where to Shop" category was always my first target.  As I consulted Google about Budapest back in April, I was beyond excited when I discovered OURSTYLE Boutique--an entire store dedicated to selling designs by local Hungarian artists. I fell in love with this screen printed tee:

Tee (sold out) - OURSTYLE Boutique, Wedges - Zara, Bag - Balenciaga, Sunglasses - Oakley, Bracelets - HermesCubus (sold out)

I also picked up this bracelet.  The "Miracle Stag" charm is a symbol of good luck from a Hungarian legend.

Postcards from Budapest: Here are a few pictures from my days in the City of Spas.

Yellow Brick Road
I definitely recommend Cafe Deryne... It's the perfect mix of a lunch bistro, a cafe and a wine bar.

The desserts were a sight to see...

A trip to Budapest isn't complete without a visit to the Szechenyi Bath and Spa.

The New "Knockoff"

I know, I know... Cara Delevingne is the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, the dog's bullocks... Whatever you want to say, she's the "Woman Crush Wednesday," every Wednesday.  If you've ever seen an interview with Cara, you see it--despite her top model status, she's cool, goofy, and totally herself 100 percent of the time.  Not to mention, her style is worthy of hours of online stalking.

One of my favorite things I've seen Cara wearing are LA designer Brian Lichtenberg's clever tees, tanks, sweatshirts and flat bill hats that give a whole new meaning to the word "knockoff."
Want to be like Cara...? Do yourself a favor and add one of these to your wardrobe:

More from Greenwood... The Road Trip Home

You wouldn't expect much while driving through the Delta, with one water-tower-town after the other. But, sure enough, we found plenty of stops to make the drive worthwhile.

First stop: Honest Abe's for homemade doughnuts and chicken salad for the road.

Our next stop was an organic tomato farm in Indianola, MS called Beaverdam, where we picked up flats of the freshest tomatoes, cucumbers, farm-fresh eggs, homemade salsa and honey.

Our last stop was the Paul Michael Company flagship store in Lake Village, AR.  This huge warehouse that sits on a cotton field is full of home goods and American-made furniture that can only be found at Paul Michael.

Of course, being in Arkansas, there were plenty of pigs to choose from...
